Whether you’ve ordered a massive ASME pressure vessel or a replacement part for an existing heat exchanger, Sistersville Tank Works has access to the shipping mode that will get it to you on-time and within budget. Our plant is within an overnight drive of more than one-half the population of the United States, and nearly one-third of Canada. Less than a mile from a loading ramp on the country’s second-largest river, we also have quick access to nearby airports and major highways.
Land:
STW is located midway between Parkersburg, WV to the south and Wheeling, WV to the north. We can reach either city in less than one hour via WV Rt 2 along the east side of the river, or OH Rt 7 on the west. From Parkersburg, your delivery can be whisked away on north-south Interstate 77, or east-west U.S. Rt. 50. From Wheeling, Interstate 70 makes for a quick drive to the Pittsburgh and Columbus areas, and short drives to north-south Interstate 79, along with the Pennsylvania and Ohio turnpikes. STW maintains a fleet of delivery vehicles for smaller items.

Water:
If your delivery is too large for the highway, STW is just minutes from the Ohio River where it can be loaded onto a barge and floated to your nearest unloading facility. Upriver, the Ohio reaches Pittsburgh. Downriver, the Ohio accesses America’s heartland via the Mississippi River and the southern states on the Gulf of Mexico.
Air:
Need it in a hurry? Less than one hour from Sistersville are Parkersburg-Wood County Airport and Wheeling-Ohio County Airport; Pittsburgh International and Port-of-Columbus (Ohio) airports are less than three hours away.
